News today reached the game developers and publishers, that they are to be recognizsed by the guiness world records of having the most successful game launch of all time. Surely the guys at call of duty modern warfare 2 will be loving this fact especially considering that Halo 3 was a pretty big launch.

I know i bought my version of call of duty modern warfare 2 during launch week and I’m pretty sure so did most of the world. I can assume too that any sales of call of duty modern warfare 2 since launch week are consumers that have damaged their game in some way.

Did you buy call of duty modern warfare 2 during launch week? Do you feel its right that call of duty modern warfare 2 is being recognised properly by the world record books? I’m not so sure that games should really make world records, however on the other hand, it is a media production and does have a big impact on children and adults alike who play the game.

I’m going to be honest, although I still play call of duty, I stopped due to the increased number of glitches being discovered I decided to play fifa instead. Should I go back to call of duty modern warfare 2?

How many modern warfare 2 glitches has there actually been? First off and most publicised, we had the javelin glitch, which led to a very slow patch being released, however since then we have had glitches such as, unlimited ammo glitch, the care package glitch various people being off maps and some floating glitches.

For those not sure, the care package glitch causes users to get unlimited care packages for call of duty modern warfare 2, obviously meaning you can clean up when it comes to extra weapons and perks.

I did play call of duty once and seen something i’d not seen before, there was a player on the roof of one of the tall buildings on the high rise map. Is this a glitch? Someone please let me know, also if you feel there are active glitches I would like to know, I’m looking for a checklist to goto IW with to see if we can have something done so I can enjoy call of duty modern warfare 2 again.

The main gripe believe it or not, isn’t with the price of the stimulus map pack, however, it seems to be the restrictions that are placed onto the game modes you can play on call of duty modern warfare 2, when you have the stimulus pack activated. I would like to know more about this restrictions, as I have been able to play on all maps of the stimulus pack while playing a variety of games. The main games I play on seem to be either headquaters or team deathmatch. If there is a mode i’ve tried and missed then please let me know as I am trying to get to the full extent of peoples frustration on call of duty.

The price is a concern however to those people who both cannot seem to play all game modes with it, or those people who downloaded the content within the 1st 24 hours and had nothing but issues trying to play games.

There is also millions of concerned users on the playstation network, as no one seems to be able to answer when the stimulus pack will be available to call of duty modern warfare 2 players, who play on the playstation. What the game creators don’t seem to realise is the longer its left, the less sales it could generate as users will be annoyed with the xbox version and spread the word to the playstation users.

I know normally its well publicised when there is a double points weekend but I seem to have had my head so deep into the stimulus map pack on my copy of call of duty modern warfare 2 that I have missed it. I didnt even notice that my call of duty rank was going up quicker.

Gamers are now rejoicing that their copy of modern warfare 2 has a fresh feel, and although there are only 4 new maps, the 2 that have been remastered may also feel new. Lets face it, you can now go a large number of games without having to touch those old tired maps that used to annoy you when people camped of were off map.

What do you think of the downloaded content? Does it make you enjoy call of duty modern warfare 2, more than you have previously? The cost of the stimulus map pack is 1200msp which has been under controversy itself, however, its still believed 70% of players will download it in order to give a fresh look on the game, it will almost feel like having a new game to play. The maps have also come under controversy with some people suggesting that its just lazy 2 release two old maps with a graphics brush up instead of full maps. There is also a number of people who aren’t fully happy about which maps have been brought into the future.

Either way, the maps are now available for you to add onto your call of duty modern warfare 2, you should dive straight in now and download it! Mines currently on download and I’m writing this in huge anticipation. Please come back for a review on wether the maps were really worth 1200 points to refresh your call of duty modern warfare 2.

I then found out that it was activision that has been setting the price for the call of duty modern warfare 2 stimulus pack. This set me on a huge mission to find out why seens as the two developers went their seperate ways for the modern warfare line of games.

Although no one from either developer has suggested they feel its too expensive, many of the users online believe its extorsion to pay so much. When I decided to dig a little deeper, it didnt even take me 20 minutes as to why acitivision have been blamed. Yes activision developed the first call of duty modern warfare, and didnt develop modern warfare 2, however what neither have pointed out is that the stimulus map pack will include new maps as well as maps developed from when activision where on the scene.

What this means is that, you are getting maps from both games with both developers involved, there is no way that activision will allow inifity ward to have a huge cash in with the call of duty online players without wanting some money for themseleves. Also on the back of that, infinity ward would not let a huge chunk of their money goto activision, so they will pray on supply and demand, and get the call of duty modern warfare 2 fans to pay through the noses to line the pockets of both developers!

What you will recieve, you will be recieve few “new” maps, i.e 3 brand spanking new maps for call of duty modern warfare 2, and 2 maps that have been remastered from modern warfare 1.

The old maps are crash and over grown with only little changes, personally to me, they werent the best maps, but what can you do this is what they want to bring out.

The new maps are bailout, storm and salvage, these are said to be absolutely fantastic with a map in an overun apartment block, empty warehouses and a junkyard covered in snow. The snow map looks by far the most impressive in hd. I am seriously looking forward to getting my hand on these maps, however there is no word from infinity ward on wether we will receieve any new perks or weapons with this download.

All that said, i feel the stimulus pack for modern warfare 2 is probably worth every penny of the 1200 points, what do you think? Will you be downloading this call of duty modern warfare 2 game add on.

Does it sound like this question is too early for people to answer? If so then you may just be thinking about it in the wrong way. The reason I’m asking is to basically figure out if people prefer the modern warfare series of call of duty, or the old fashioned versions. Personally I have always liked games that are a little older in scene if possible, some real actions actually happening.

It was for that reason, I prefered call of duty world at war over modern warfare. I just feel that sometimes the modern warfare series, tries too hard to be good, and although they are good games, some classic weapons, real trenches and other aspects just make it feel more like a war game. I know there are millions of modern warfare 2 fans out there who will be thinking what am I talking about, however there will also be more than a few that will understand exactly what I mean.

Do you prefer modern warfare 2? Or will you feel that the call of duty vietnam game, may be more down your street? Let me know your thoughts either way.

In essence they are probably right, but with modern warfare and call of duty now produced as seperate games, there is probably a lagging in the factory that believe it has been too long since call of duty world at war. What are your thoughts on this? Do you yearn for another edition of call of duty, or should they be waiting for people to become bored or tired of call of duty modern warfare 2?

Modern Warfare 2 Glitches

Personally I feel that call of duty modern warfare 2 has seen its days as people online are also admiting to moving to other games such as bioshock 2, so that they dont have to play games that are riddled with glitch after glitch, and every patch reveals a new one.

Let me know your thoughts, do you require a little extra time to play? Or are you ready for a new installment.

Is it smart to bring out an expansion pack for a game as popular as modern warfare 2? I believe it is, as many people who play the game online feel that the offline story mode is very very short, so we may see some extra missions like what rockstar have done with GTA4. This expansion pack will also probably include a few new multiplayer maps so that you can enjoy call of duty modern warfare 2 with a little bit of freshness breathed up is backside.

I personally will be looking forward to the call of duty expansion pack as there are a few maps online I don’t exactly enjoy playing at the moment. Hopefully we will see some fantastic maps aswell as hopefully, alot more robust code added to the game as the current code brings so may call of duty glitches and hacks into life, that its almost unplayable at times.

The only problem I forsee is the possibilty that this may cost an awful lot more to recieve than a standard map pack would, and with other games winning game of the year, its unlikely to see a game of year edition of call of duty modern warfare 2.

Im not fully aware wether this is a glitch or a full blown hack, either way, it needs fixing asap. You might not be thinking this is all that bad, but i’ll give you a scenario. Do you think its bad enough that you turn around a corner to find someone has the model shotgun duel wielder and killed instantly! Well chopper gunner ammo is twice or 3 times as powerful. So if this is in a lightweight pistol you can pretty much guess that you’re spawn is over!

The power is so much that the video below shows someone dying from their own bullets when shot into the floor. Now i don’t think there is a gun on call of duty modern warfare 2 that will cause this with the added exception of rocket launchers!
