Lille vs AS Monaco Preview

Struggling Lille will not be happy playing AS Monaco at the moment.   They are sitting just one point above the relegation zone following a very difficult start to the new season and they have scored just one goal from their last 5 matches.

The Marcelo Beisla led team won their first league match 3-0 which raised the hopes of their fans that this would be a very good season.

However, they have failed to record another victory since that win. M

Much is expected from Argentine manager Beisla, and he needs to get his team scoring goals soon enough to avoid a relegation battle later in the season.

AS Monaco look to have gotten over their shock 4-0 loss at Nice two weeks back as they picked up one point in a 1-1 draw with RB Leipzig in their first Champions League game before beating newly promoted Strasbourg 4-0 last weekend.

They are one of the highest scoring teams in Europe at the moment with 17 goals from their first 6 matches this season.
