Borussia Dortmund vs FC Schalke 04 Preview

Borussia Dortmund host second placed Schalke 04 in this week 13 game as they look to get their season back on track.

Dortmund have plunged into crisis since early October and have won only one of their last eight competitive games.

They started this season well but have now been eliminated from the Champions League.

Despite Dortmund’s poor form, one thing is certain they always score goals and they will need to be outscored if Schalke want to continue their recent impressive form.

Schalke 04 are having a good season and they come into this game in second position.

They are unbeaten in seven games since September, winning five and drawing two – a run that has seen them climb up the Bundesliga table to second position and they will be looking to get the better of Dortmund here.

They don’t seem to have any problems playing away from home as they have won three on the bounce so far, including a 0-3 win at Hertha berlin.

Schalke have not beaten Dortmund since September 2014 and it will be interesting to see if that run will continue here.
