This is not the most glamorous fixture but thankfully it is also not a relegation-escaping fixture either as both clubs have a good cushion over the relegation zone.
Levante appear to be the favourites here because of home advantage but they have been too poor defensively recently for them to be considered favourites.

That should concern their fans and manager alike as those are games they are expected to concede fewer goals.

Leganes have not done badly in their second consecutive top flight season and the Madrid based side look likely to maintain their top flight status at the end of this season.
They may not be famous for their attacking displays but they showed in their 3-1 home win over Villarreal that they can take their chances when they manage to create them.
They come into this game as the fresher of the two teams as they did not play over the weekend due to Real Madrid’s participation in the FIFA Club World cup.
