Borussia Dortmund carved Zenit apart on multiple occasions on the first leg and it’s hard to imagine that Zenit will defend worse than that on the night. Zenit’s biggest problem is they need to score 3 away goals without any reply from Dortmund, which is very hard to imagine even for the most optimistic fan. Zenit come to Signal Iduna Park knowing the task ahead of them but also without fear – in the first leg they looked very shaky and gave Dortmund too much respect. Zenit are on a horrendous run of form in all competitions losing 5 of their last 7 games. Ultimately Dortmund should have more than enough quality however we may see a better performance Zenit, particularly defencively after a nightmare first leg and with the news that their new appointed boss is Andre Villas-Boas.
