Internazionale vs AC Milan Preview

The Serie A is filled with interesting games this weekend but this Milan derby is arguably the biggest of them all.

Both Milan teams have been struggling in recent seasons but with new investment from new Chinese owners they are both looking to get into the top four once again this season.

Despite spending less than AC Milan this summer, Inter Milan have made the best start to the league season.

The fact that their transfer activities were not as thorough as that of their City rivals may have played a key role as they have a more settled set of players.

They are now under one of the best tacticians in Serie A and they look better placed to get back among the biggest teams in Italy come May.

AC Milan started the season very well and the influence of Leonardo Bonucci saw them stay unbeaten for their first couple of matches however they have since shown signs of a side that have not been able to gel well and may need more than this season to hit the heights that is expected of them.

They have excelled against poorer opponents but when they have faced more organised sides, they have struggled and that is not a feature of a side that can win the league title.

AC Milan lost 4-1 to Lazio and many excused them as Lazio is one of the best teams in the league at the moment however they followed that up with a 2-0 loss to Sampdoria and another 2-0 loss to AS Roma the last time out.

They need to show everyone how much they can do this season with a good result here.
