Everton are a team on the rise.

Since the appointment of Sam Allardyce they remain unbeaten and have taken points from Liverpool away and Chelsea at home.

They will be looking to get a point in this game also based on their current run of form.

Everton have been winning against smaller teams, while taking points from the top sides.

Their draw against Chelsea was fairly one-sided with them defending for much of tie however they still got the job done and took a point.

They will fancy their chances against this United side that has been struggling for much of this month.

Sam Allardyce has a poor record against United with just three wins and six draws in 26 games.

United have earned two wins so far this month but those were nervy wins against Bournemouth and West Brom.

They lost in the Manchester Derby and were ousted from the Carabao cup by second tier Bristol City before dropping four points against Burnley and Leicester City.

Against Burnley, they needed a second half brace from substitute Jese Lingard to avoid an embarrassing defeat at home having been 2 goals down heading towards the final whistle.

They will be coming against some of their former players like Michael Keane who left as a teenager and more recently Morgan Schniederlin and Wayne Rooney who will be looking to prove a point against them.
