Watford’s decline continued in their draw against Stoke City last time out and takes them ever closer to the relegation zone.

Although they come into this game in 11^th, they are closer to the relegation zone than the top half of the table.

Earlier under Marcos Silva they prided themselves with picking up points away from home however, they are now doing better at home although they have only 3 wins there all season.

Chelsea had an even worse time in midweek as they lost at home to Bournemouth – a game they played without a striker.

That loss pushed them down to 4^th in the league table, just 2 points more than Tottenham who are 5^th.

This game could be the first for Giroud and the French man seems to fit the Blues style of play as they have scored more headers than any other team in the league this season.

The Blues have won 5 and drawn 2 of their last seven meetings with the Hornets.
