When France were pitched against Australia in their opening game of the World Cup, many predicted that the star-studded French would walk all over their Asian opponents, however, that was far from the case when the two teams faced off.
Australia defended deep and pressed the French players all over the pitch and went in at half-time all square.
France eventually got the opening goal through a penalty, but the Aussies got theirs and it was all square again.
We had to wait until the 80th before an unfortunate own goal gave France the lead again and this time Australia could not come back and all three points went to Les Bleus.
France tend to start tournaments badly however when they get going, they can be unstoppable.
Peru could become victims of tough luck at this World Cup if this game goes the way their first match went.
Paolo Guerrero started from the bench and had to watch as his teammates squandered countless chances to kill off Denmark.
They had 17 shots and even missed a penalty yet they could not find the back of the net with any of their efforts.
They eventually lost that game 1-0 to the Danes and they need at least a draw from this match to remain in the competition.
Judging by how well they played against Denmark, they could shock France here.
Bookmakers make France odds-on favourites however Peru have an outside chance of casuing yet another upset in this World Cup.
