Chelsea started their season by firing a manager that helped them win the Premier League two seasons back, and when they appointed Maurizio Sarri as their new manager, many did not expect them to compete for the Premier League title, however, 10 games in and they are firmly in the mix.

While Liverpool and Manchester City have also not been beaten this season, Chelsea’s 4-0 win over Burnley last weekend means that they are the only English team yet to lose a game in any competition this season.

The last time the Blues lost a game was at the Community Shield against Manchester City – since then, they have won 12 of 15 games, however, Crystal Palace have proven to be masters at halting teams momentums and it will be interesting to see how Chelsea approach this game.

Crystal Palace played out an impressive 2-2 draw against Arsenal last weekend, but their inconsistency saw them lose to Middleborough in the Carabao Cup in midweek.

While they have proven difficult to beat for the top sides this season, they have managed to win just 2 games all season and Chelsea don’t look like their next victim.

Palace’s problem seems to lie in their attack. The Eagles have found the back of the net just 7 times this season, and they have failed to score in 5 of their 10 league games so far.

Chelsea on the other hand have kept 5 clean sheets in the league this season and they should feel they can get another one here.

Unsurprisingly,  bookmakers have priced Chelsea up as heavy odds-on favourites while goal markets suggest we could see at least 3 goals.
