Liverpool vs Arsenal Preview

Liverpool are riding high in the title race at the moment and Jurgen Klopp’s men will only have themselves to blame if they slip up in the race.

They beat a stubborn Newcastle team 4-0 at the weekend with goals from Mohamed Salah, Dejan Lovren, Fabinho and Shaqiri helping them claim a 16^th win in 19 League games.

There are 19 more games to go but the Reds are currently 6 points clear and welcome this Arsenal team that hasn’t had the best of times recently.

The Gunners also don’t have the most enviable of records against the Reds and the home side will be looking to keep their winning run going.

Arsenal saw their 22 games unbeaten run end at the hands of Southampton two matchdays back and they were beaten by Tottenham again in the League cup more recently.

The Gunners managed to earn a 3-1 win over Burnley before slipping to a 1-1 draw against Brighton in their last league game.

This game will be tougher than those against Burnley and Brighton and Unai Emery will be hoping that his key men can come good under the hostile lights of Anfield.

Bookmakers have priced Liverpool up as strong odds-on favourites to get the job done here.  Their price reflects the fact that many now believe they can win the Premier League this season.

Goal markets suggest an extremely lively game while Mohamed Salah is clear favourite to score the first goal.
