Liverpool vs Everton Preview

Liverpool vs Everton

Competition – Barclays Premier League

Stadium – Anfield

Date: 4th December 2019

Kick-off time – 20:15 GMT

Liverpool will be looking to consolidate on their position as the top team in the Premier League when they welcome an underperforming Everton side for this game.

The Reds survived a major scare when they beat Brighton 2-1 at the weekend as their number one goalkeeper Allison was given a straight red card for handling outside the box.

The Brazilian will miss their next three games alongside Fabinho who is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

Everton have been in a very poor run of form and that continued when they were beaten 2-1 by Leicester City at the weekend despite taking the lead in that game.

Marcos Silva’s side come into this game 17th in the league table and they would fall inside the relegation zone after this game if they lose and Southampton win their game.

Liverpool are unbeaten at home since 2017 and they come into this game having not lost any of their last 15 games in all competitions.

Liverpool have won all of their home league games this season and it was only against Napoli last week that they failed to take all three points at home this season in all competitions.

Everton have won just three of their last ten away games in all competitions and only one of those wins have come in the Premier League.

The Toffees have lost five of their last six away days in the English top division.
