UEFA Europa League Quarter Final Draw – Betting Markets

The quarter finals draw of the UEFA Europa League took place earlier today and all three English sides managed to avoid each other.  Newcastle drew Benfica, Chelsea drew Rubin Kazan, Tottenham drew Basel and Fenerbache drew Lazio.  The first legs will take place on the 4th April at 20:00 GMT+0.

The draw itself hasn’t changed the outright betting odds for the UEFA Europa League; Tottenham are surprisingly still favourites at odds of 9/4, Chelsea are second favourites at 5/2, Benfica are 9/2, Lazio are 13/2, Newcastle are 12/1, Rubin Kazan are 16/1, Fenerbache are 20/1 and Basel are 28/1.

With English sides having a torrid time in the UEFA Champions League, it’s looking ever more likely that an English side will win the UEFA Europa League this year.
