Paris Saint-Germain vs Bayern Munich Preview

PSG dropped their first points of the season over the weekend as they were held to a goalless draw by Montpellier, albeit that was in the absence of World’s most expensive player Neymar Jr. who missed out due to a foot injury.

That result got many talking about the team’s chances of winning games or trophies in the absence of the Brazilian.

Neymar is expected to return to action in this game and that will send panic around Bayern Munich whose defence has been inconsistent this season.

After opening their Champions League campaign with a 5-0 win away from home against Celtic, the Parisians are expected to make a good impression here also.

PSG has won one and lost one of their last two meetings with Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich will head into this game with hopes of at least sharing the spoils with their attacking line up being led by Robert Lewandoski.

They could be the biggest test of PSG’s season so far.

Lewandoski has started the season in a typically lethal fashion with 8 goals in 7 appearance so far – a figure that means he is responsible for half of his team’s goals this season.

The Pole may be in top form, but the rest of the Bavarians seem to be struggling.
