AC Milan vs AS Roma Preview

AC Milan survived what would have been an embarrassing draw by netting a late winner in their midweek clash against Rijeka as they won the game 3-2.

They had previously led that tie by 2-0.

They have been struggling recently as they lost their last league game against Sampdoria.

With the amount of money they spent on transfers they know they have to do better and AS Roma is another tough test of their title ambitions.

They have the same points with as the visitors although they have played a game more.

Despite their impressive start to the league season they have not really performed well when they face tough opponents as their losses to Lazio and Sampdoria have shown.

AS Roma won their European midweek tie against Qarabag and they will be looking to build on that victory here.

Although their win over the minnows was less than convincing, they seem to have goals in them when they play away and that should be a cause of worry for AC Milan who look terribly weak at the back despite the signing of Leonardo Bonucci.

The Giallorossi have scored in 12 consecutive away games and they will be looking to keep that record when they visit Milan in this game.

With Edin Dzeko, Roma have an attacker who is capable of scoring even with half a chance.

He has 10 goals in his last 8 league games and he could spoil the party for AC Milan in this game.
