Atletico Madrid vs Getafe Preview

Atletico Madrid will be starting their new league campaign when they welcome this Getafe side that has proven very hard to beat in the last two seasons.

Having only returned to La Liga two seasons ago, their fans will be hoping that they can continue to progress and perhaps qualify for the Champions League at the end of this season, but a good start is required here.

There have been so many changes at the Wanda Metropolitano this season but pre-season results should give Atleti fans little to worry about.

Bookmakers have priced Atletico Madrid up as strong odds-on favourites to come out on top in this game while Getafe will start the game as underdogs.

Goal markets point to a tight game as under 2.5 goals is currently trading odds-on prior to kick-off while Alvaro Morata is clear favourite to score the opening goal of the game.
