Lithuania Under 19’s vs Finland Under 19’s Preview

Lithuania Under 19’s take on Finland Under 19’s at the SRC Alytus Stadium this Sunday afternoon in the 2015 European under 19 Championship.

Lithuania come into this tie bottom of Group 13 after a 2:0 defeat at the hands of Norway under 19’s and a 0:0 draw against Scotland under 19’s.

Finland are second in Group 13 after 2 draws against Norway and Scotland respectively.

A win for Lithuania could move them as high as second position depending on what happens in the Norway vs Scotland game which takes place at the same time.

Finland could top group 13 with a win if Norway fail to beat Scotland in the other match.

This group has been very tight throughout and we should expect another close game with few goals.  Finland have the overall better form coming into this tie having forced a draw against leaders Norway however at this level anything can happen and any team are capable of beating any other team on their day.

Ultimately Finland should be able to come out on top in this game and if they are able to, they will finish the night second of Group 13 and with a very good chance of progressing further in this tournament.
