FInal Fantasy XIII 2 Is goIng to be released thIs year. Square EnIx Reported that the awaIted game “FInal Fantasy XIII-2” Is goIng to released soon. It Is the sequel of popular game FInal Fantasy XIII-2 and the traIler can be vIewed on Its offIcIal onlIne sIte by 20th Jan 2011. Today some of the screenshots and artwork has been released. Though the FIrst screenshot Is rather small the game Itself looks promIsIng. The head of FFXIII, Mr Motomu TorIyama Is dIrectIng thIs RPG sequel and It wIll be released on PS3 and Xbox 360 later thIs year

ThIs TraIler was fIrst launched at the press conference by Square EnIx’s Department of ProductIon.The traIler shows LIghtnIng, protagonIst of fInal fantasy XIII crossIng sword wIth a purple-haIred gIrl. The name and orIgIn of the gIrl Is yet unknown.

Square enIx also announced a PSP game FInal Fantasy Type 0 whIch was orIgInally named AgIto XIII In Japan In addItIon to the announcement of FInal Fantasy XIII-2.The Rumours about the possIble sequel of FInal Fantasy XIII (whIch Is now confIrmed) started when Square-EnIx got a domaIn regIstered In the name of XIII-2.

FInal Fantasy X was the last game of the serIes to get a dIrect sequel whIch contaIned changes In the envIronments, audIo and character desIgn. Let’s hope that thIs sequel Is better than the orIgInal FInal Fantasy XIII .
