Tip – Djakadam finished second here last year behind Don Cossack and those two horses were well clear of the remainder which included Irish Cavalier and Smad Place.  The forgotten horse from last years Gold Cup may be Cue Card who fell 3 fences from home while travelling beautifully.  Colin Tizzard’s horse Native River is highly respected and should be there or thereabouts – Djakadam is our choice for the 2017 Gold Cup in a highly competitive field.
