Austria Vienna vs AC Milan Preview

AC Milan will be looking to make a winning start to their Europa League campaign this season and they look in better shape than their host in this game.

Austria Vienna Finished second in the Austrian league last season and their fans are expecting them to challenge for the title this season.  However, they have found it hard so far as they sit fifth in the league table after seven games.

AC Milan were used to competing in the Champions League but for a number of seasons now they have been underachieving and find themselves in Europe’s second biggest competition.

They have spent a considerable amount of money this summer and they are favourites to win this competition as well as the Italian Serie A.

They have started the league season brightly as they are currently 7^th after three games.

They should have been higher up the table but the failed their first real test as they lost 4-1 to Lazio on Sunday – a result that shows that they have a long way to go in terms of becoming an elite Italian team again.

Milan are expected to bounce back in this game as Austria Vienna continue to struggle.
