Chelsea started the season in a shocking manner and many began to fear that they might struggle to defend their Premier League title like they did during the 2015/2016 season but they have turned things around.
They lost their first two competitive games of the season to Arsenal in the community Shield and Burnley in the Premier League but they won their second league game against Tottenham away and they have not looked back since then.
Beating Everton 2-0, Leicester City 1-2 before trashing Azerbaijani side Qarabag 6-0 in the Champions League since then.
On current form, the Blues look unstoppable and they will be full of confidence when Arsenal come to town.
Arsenal secured a 3-1 comeback victory in their first Europa League game on Thursday.
That result has helped them build a two game winning run as they look to get their season back on track.
They started their league season with a hard fought 4-3 win over Leicester City but followed that up with two away losses at Stoke City and Liverpool.
They won their last league game against Bournemouth and it was a much improved performance from them ahead of this game.
With both of this teams heading into this game in fine form this match will be an interesting one to watch from a neutral’s perspective.
