Manchester United will be looking to build on their 1-0 win over Tottenham over the weekend as Benfica come to town.
The Red Devils have suffered their first set of poor results recently.
They played out a goalless draw against Liverpool and followed that up with a poorly secured 1-0 win at Benfica before capitulating to a 2-1 defeat at Huddersfield.
They followed that loss with two wins, a 2-0 win over Swansea in the Carabao Cup and a 1-0 win against Tottenham at home but their performance in that last game left more to be desired by their fans.
They now turn their attention to Europe where they have impressed so far having won all three of their matches.
If they win this game and CSKA Moscow fail to do the same in Basel, they will secure their qualification for the next round with two games to spare.
They have won four of their last seven meetings with Benfica.
Benfica were tipped by many to qualify for the next round alongside Manchester United when the draws were conducted but the Portuguese side have been terrible so far losing all three of their group games so far.
They lost their opening fixture 2-1 at home to CSKA Moscow and were blown away 5-0 against Basel in their very next game.
Although they were much improved in their last game against Manchester United, they still lost that game and they have no realistic chance of making it to the next round now.
They have won just four of their last ten competitive matches in all competitions and have lost four of their last six away games in the Champions League.
