Alaves vs Las Palmas Preview

This is a clash between two basement sides who will be looking to build on their recent wins and see if they can build some momentum before the new year.

Home advantage could help Alaves as they look to get their season back on track.

Las Palmas on the other hand are in need of a manager that can help them patch their leaky defence.

Paco Ayestaran became the second manager that has failed to do so this season and was fired last week.

Interim manager, Paquito Ortiz  did a good job in his first game as he led the club to a win over Real Betis.

Las Palmas have the worst defensive record in the division with 2.29 goals conceded per game so far.

They have also lost 12 of their last 14 away games which should get Alaves attackers licking their lips.

Their last three away meetings with Alaves have ended in draws.
