It is safe to say Liverpool have been playing like Liverpool should since the turn of the New Year.

They started with three consecutive wins against Burnley, Everton, and Manchester City only to follow that momentous win by losing at Swansea and then at home to West Brom.

However, they did win their last league game at Huddersfield to end a turbulent month in grand style and up to 3^rd in the league table.

They no longer have any domestic Cup competition to distract them and Jurgen Klopp will be looking to get far in the Champions League and finish inside the top four.

They come into this game 3^rd, just 3 points behind Manchester United who are 2^nd and 2 more than Tottenham who are 5^th.

Tottenham come into this game in buoyant mood after they secured an unlikely 2-0 home win over Manchester United in their last game.

That game saw Christian Eriksen score the 3^rd fastest goal in the EPL history to rattle the Red Devils.

That win was a welcome boost after a rather poor showing in their previous game against Newport in the FA Cup.

They will be looking for a win when they visit Anfield here as they are currently unbeaten in their last 9 competitive games.
