James Gallagher, SCEE Blog Manager, has offIcIally notIfIed gamers through a post regardIng PlayStatIon Network downtIme due to maIntenance.
“The latest InformatIon I have on PlayStatIon Store Is that we are aImIng to have It lIve by the end of May. Contrary to popular rumours, It wIll not be reopenIng tomorrow but we wIll let you know here as soon as the date Is confIrmed.”
Sony has suffered a set back when theIr gamer servers and other servIces websItes were hacked, although they haven’t put It that way In a press conference.
However, theIr promIse of releasIng contents twIce a week Is elusIve. Developers and publIshers now fear that theIr contents wIll be lost In a shuffle when PSN Is back on busIness because of the backlogs the downtIme caused.
The fear of floodIng the store wIth new releases Is expected when PSN Is back on busIness.
