Croatia vs Denmark Preview

Croatia are one of the most impressive teams in this competition so far.

They were not considered favourites before the tournament began, but they look like they can go all the way.

The Croatians started their competition with a 2-0 win over Nigeria.

They followed that victory up with another against Argentina which was supposed to be their most difficult, yet they made it look so easy by running out 3-0 winners.

By the time they played Iceland in their last group game, they were already through to the knockout stages, yet they still won the match 2-1 to maintain a 100% record in this competition.

Denmark started their campaign with a fortunate 1-0 win over Peru.

The Peruvians had 17 shots on goal while the Danes had less than ten, however, they still managed to win.

Their next game against Australia ended in a 1-1 draw and they needed to avoid a defeat in their final game to make it to the next round.

They drew 0-0 against France in their final match and after Peru won over Australia, this clash came to fruition.

There is a feeling that the Danes have been riding their luck and this could be the end of the road for them.

Croatia are slight odds-on favourites to come out on top in this game however their odds seem quite short and it’s very possible their odds have something to do with their 3:0 win over Argentina during the group stages.
