Manchester United have started their season with controversies on and off the field as well as poor performances on it.
At the centre of everything is Jose Mourinho who cannot stop moaning about the lack of investment in his squad over the summer.
Everything points to the 3rd season curse catching up on the former Chelsea manager eventually however time will tell.
The Red Devils started the season with an unimpressive 2-1 win over Leicester City and they followed that up with a 3-2 loss at Brighton.
This game offers them the chance to get another three points and stay close to their rivals in the race for the title, and anything less would be disastrous.
Tottenham had a lot of star players resting when pre-season began because of their participation in the World Cup latter stages, however, the Lilywhites stars don’t seem to have been affected by that.
They started their season with a hard fought 2-1 win at Newcastle, before beating London rivals Fulham 3-1.
They have both form and momentum on their side ahead of this game, however, they have never won at Old Trafford under Mauricio Pochettino and it will be interesting to see how they perform in this game.
Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have each won three and lost three of their last six encounters, with the home side not losing in this fixture since January 2014.
