Huesca vs Real Sociedad Preview

La Liga new boys, Huesca will be looking to continue the start to their maiden campaign in the Spanish top flight as they welcome Real Sociedad who are out of form at the moment.

Huesca started their campaign with an impressive 2-1 win over Eibar and followed that up with a 2-2 draw at Athletic Bilbao, however, their 3^rd league game ended in an 8-2 whitewash at the hands of Barcelona.

That result seems to have battered their confidence as they went on to lose 1-0 in their next game against fellow newly promoted side Rayo Vallecano.

Huesca were unfortunate not to win that game as they played very well and even created better openings inside the 90 minutes.

That was the first time they failed to score in La Liga this season after scoring at least 2 goals per game before that and they will be looking to bounce back immediately in this game against a Sociedad side that has a growing list of injured players.

Adnan Januzaj, Willian Jose Jose, and Diego Llorente all miss this game through injury.

Real Sociedad’s last game against Barcelona produced an impressive and courageous display from them, however, they still fell to a second consecutive defeat with the 2-1 final score.

Real Sociedad went into the Barcelona game after losing to Eibar the previous weekend.

The visitors are just like Huesca in that they won their first game of the season, but haven’t won again since that time.
