Valencia should be delighted with their 2-1 win over Manchester United in the Champions League on Wednesday and they will be hoping that can help them get all three points here too.
Los Che, like most Spanish teams have struggled for consistency this season and they come into this game closer to the relegation spot than to the top of La Liga table.
However, just 4 points separates them from the Spanish top six in a race that includes not less than 12 teams.
Their 2-1 win over Manchester United would have boosted their confidence in a timely manner ahead of this game as they have now gone unbeaten in their last 3 matches in all competitions.
Eibar haven’t been the easiest side to beat this season but they also have a big problem with consistency.
They beat Real Madrid 3-0 last month, but they failed to follow that up with good results after losing to Rayo, exiting the Copa del Rey and playing out another 4-4 draw before this game.
Eibar will be looking to get back to winning form in this game, but their defence has proved too easy to breach at times this season.
Eibar will be banking on the fact that they haven’t lost at home since September to get at least a point in this game.
This is the most competitive betting market of the weekend in the Spanish Primera as both teams are currently priced up exactly the same (2.70), while the draw is (3.20).
A flutter of money would see either side go off as favourites however expect a low-scoring game as under 2.5 goals is currently trading odds-on.
