These two teams meet as they look to make a statement as the major challenger to Barcelona this season and something has to give here.
Sevilla have won all of their last 10 home games this season, while Atletico Madrid have only lost to Sevilla on a single occasion since 2011, so it will be interesting to see which record is broken after 90 minutes.
Sevilla are two points behind their visitors in the league table, while a win for Atletico would help them draw level on points with Barcelona before the Catalans play on Sunday.
This game should be one of the closest games of the Spanish league season as Sevilla are in inspiring form at home in all competitions, while Atletico Madrid are a team who love to preserve historic records.
A low scoring affair could be on the cards here as both teams look to avoid too much damage while showing respect to their opponent.
Atletico Madrid have won the last two league meetings between these teams, but Sevilla did beat them home and away in their last Copa del Rey meeting last year.
This is one of the most competitve betting markets of the weekend as Atletico are current favourites with bookmakers by a 10th of a point while a rush of money could see Sevilla go off as favourites.
Goal markets suggest this will be a low-scoring tie while Antoine Griezmann is clear favourite with bookies to score the opening goal of the game.
