West Ham United vs Liverpool Preview

Liverpool failed to fully capitalize on Manchester City’s slip when they played Leicester City at home on Wednesday and their fans will be hoping that they can get the win that would give them the chance to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table.

The Red’s 1-1 draw with Leicester City was the first time they have failed to beat a team outside the top six this season and some have claimed that they are on the verge of bottling it.

Jurgen Klopp’s men still look like the best team in the division and if they have a good day on Monday, they should return to winning ways here.

West Ham have been doing considerably well this season as they look to end the season in a Europa League place, however, they have been beaten in their last three games, conceding 9 goals in the process.

Those matches have all come away from home and Mauricio Pellegrini will be hoping that home support at the London Stadium can help them hurt Liverpool’s title push.

West Ham could be without Marko Arnautovic and Lukas Fabianski for this game, while Liverpool are still without the likes of Joe Gomez and Trent Alexander-Arnold, however, James Milner is back from suspension and could fill in at right back.

Liverpool have won their last three games against West Ham and they have scored 4 goals in each of those games.

Bookmakers have priced Liverpool up as strong odds-on favourites to come out on top in this game.

Goal markets suggest there could be goals as over 2.5 goals is currently trading odds-on while Mohamed Salah is clear favourite to score the opening goal of the game.
