Chelsea vs Manchester City

Competition – Carabao Cup Final

Stadium – Wembley

Date: 24th February 2019

Kick-off time – 16:30 GMT

Maurizio Sarri has the chance to win his first major trophy as a manager and also to buy some time for himself as manager of the Blues.

The Italian started his reign by going 22 games unbeaten, but the tide has turned now and it seems like their only chance of qualifying for the Champions League next season is to win the Europa League.

The Blues have lost their last two domestic matches and you would have to go back to December to find the last time they won an away game apart from their 2-1 win against Malmo FF in Sweden.

They have already been beaten twice by Manchester City this season and both times were away from home so their fans should fear for the worst here.

Manchester City will be looking to win the first of four competitions that they are competing in this season.

The Cityzens survived a major scare to beat Schalke 04 in the Champions League in their last match and they will now be looking to get the better of Chelsea here.

Pep Guardiola won this trophy last season and he will be keen to win it again as he looks to break more records.

City have scored 8 goals in two matches against Chelsea this season and they will be hoping to not have problems scoring more here.

Bookmakers have priced Manchester City up as strong odds-on favourites to come out on top.

Goal markets point to an exciting cup final as over 2.5 goals is trading odds-on while Gabriel Jesus is clear favourite to score the opening goal of the game ahead of Sergio Aguero.
