Sevilla FC vs Real Betis Preview

Sevilla FC vs Real Betis

Competition – Spanish Primera

Stadium – Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan

Date: 13th April 2019

Kick-off time – 19:45 GMT

Sevilla will continue their push to finish inside the top four when they take on Real Betis in this game and this should be a tough match as it involves two teams who have European ambitions.

Sevilla have picked up some form recently after winning four of their last five games.  They will be looking to keep that form intact as they bid to unseat Getafe who are currently fourth in the league table.

With seven games to go, Sevilla have still not started winning all of their games at home and a 1-0 loss to Valencia was the last result at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

Real Betis fought hard to earn a 2-1 win over Villarreal in their last league game and they will be looking to build on that here against an arguably more challenging side.

Betis are currently 9th in the league table having won just two of their last 5 games and they will be looking to put a run of wins together by winning this game and that could turn this game into a thriller.

The visitors have largely been inconsistent on the road as they have won just two of their last 11 games on the road in all competitions.  The last time they played away, it ended in a 1-1 draw against Rayo Vallecano.

Bookmakers have priced Sevilla up as slight odds-on favourites to come out on top in this tie while Betis will start the game as outsiders.

Goal markets point to a thriller as over 2.5 goals is currently trading odds-on while Wissam Ben Yedder is favourite to score the opening goal of the game followed by Miguel Andre Silva and Pablo Sarabia.

This game gets underway at 19:45 BST.
