Chile will be looking to build on their great start to the 2019 Copa America when they take on Ecuador in this game.
The Chileans have made a great start in their quest to defend their title even though it could be more difficult this time around.
They beat a strong, defencive Japanese side 4-0 in their opening game and face an Ecuador side that was thrashed 4-0 by Uruguay. They should secure another win here, but the Ecuadorians have it all to lose so expect a tough and competitive game.
Chile have won the last two Copa America’s and are not really expected to do well in this competition given how bad their pre-tournament form has been.
Many saw that win against Japan as an expected outcome so the Chileans will feel they need to win this game to prove that they still have something to offer.
Ecuador, on the other hand, know that they have to get something from this game. A draw would give them a fighting chance to reach the next round, but a defeat would all but end their competition, so this game should be tougher for Chile.

Goal markets point to a tight affair as under 2.5 goals is currently trading odds-on while Alexis Sanchez is clear favourite to score the opening goal of the game.
