Watford vs Arsenal Preview

Arsenal will be looking to get back to winning ways when they visit Watford at Vicarage Road for this game.

The Gunners come into this after failing to win any of their last two games despite starting the season with two straight wins.

They were beaten 3-1 by Liverpool at Anfield and drew 2-2 at home against Tottenham in their last league game.

Unai Emery’s side seems to have found a way to beat the smaller teams, but they have to worry about the arrival of Quique Flores who has just been named the Hornets manager.

The Spaniard helped them enjoy one of their best finishes in a Premier League season when he was in charge last time.

Watford had their best finish to a Premier League season and reached the final of the FA Cup last season, but they have struggled this season and come into this game 20th in the Premier League table.

Despite having a good pre-season, they have lost 3 and drawn one of their Premier League games so far.  Their only win this season came in the Carabao Cup against Coventry City.

Their fans would be hoping for an upset win here to get their season started finally.

Bookmakers have priced Arsenal up as slight favourites to come out on top in this game however the odds are close and Watford are priced up competitively.

Goal markets point to an exciting game as over 2.5 goals is trading odds-on prior to kick-off while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is clear favourite to score the opening goal of the game.
