Getafe were on the verge of qualifying for the Champions League last season and it was Valencia who pipped them to the final spot in La Liga, so we expect them to come here looking for some sort of revenge.
Valencia has made an inconsistent start to the new season which is not a new thing for them. However, this time around they don’t have Marcelino Garcia to help guide them to a late push for a top-four finish so they have to start getting the results they need.
After losing 5-2 at the Camp Nou, they recorded an impressive 0-1 away win over Chelsea in the Champions League but they failed to win in the league at the weekend again as Leganes scored a 36th-minute equalizer to share the spoils at the Mestalla.
Getafe is currently 11th in the league table and know that a win here would take them inside the top 10 while a defeat would move them further down the league table depending on other results.
The visitors are unbeaten in their last five games in all competitions and have recorded wins in their last two matches. They take on Barcelona after this game and they would be keen to get a result that would boost their confidence from this game.
