Manchester City vs Chelsea Preview

Manchester City will look to get back ahead of Chelsea in the league table when they welcome the Blues to the Etihad for this game.

Chelsea will be looking to banish the ghost of their 6-0 defeat against Manchester City when they take on the defending champions in this game.

The Cityzens have struggled recently and come into this game off the back of two games without a win.  They were beaten by Liverpool in their last league and drew against Atalanta before that match.

Chelsea has been inconsistent for some time now but they come into this game with no losses in their last three games.  They have won three of their last five games in all competitions.

City come into this game 9 points behind leaders Liverpool and they know that they can’t afford to drop points in this game.

Chelsea have won their their last six league games on the trot with hopes of opening a four points gap over the defending champions.

Chelsea is one of the best travellers in the league as they have won their last seven away games in all competitions.

Manchester City has been in fine form at home this season however they dropped points against Wolves (0-2) and Tottenham (2-2) but their other home games have all been wins.

This game brings together two of the Premier League’s top three goal scorers as well so it could end with a fancy scoreline.
