Arsenal vs Chelsea Preview

Two of London’s historic big sides meet in this game but it has been a season of struggle for them so far with both sides coming here with no win in their last league game.

Mikel Arteta takes charge of Arsenal for his first home game in this fixture and the Spaniard who was admittedly impressed by his player’s performance in his first game in charge will be hoping to win here.

Frank Lampard’s players have started to struggle and the Blues may find it extremely hard to remain inside the top four if they continue their inconsistent run of form.

Arsenal who were on a poor run of form under Unai Emery is enjoying some kind of resurgence as they have lost just one of their last five in all competitions however with only one coming in those five, fans expect more from one of England’s top sides.

Chelsea, on the other hand, has lost three of their last five, winning the other two.  Lampard’s men won on their last away day at Tottenham, but they have lost two of their last four away league games.

Arsenal have lost their last three home games in all competitions and they haven’t won any of their last six home games making this a potentially difficult fixture for them..

Both of these teams have two wins from the last five times they have met each other.
