Arsenal would be hoping to return to winning ways when they take on Newcastle in this game.
The Gunners are unbeaten in 2020 but they have won none of their league games this year at the same time.
They spent their winter break in Dubai training and Mikel Arteta would hope that he has gotten his ideas through to his players.
Newcastle United have made more progress under Steve Bruce than most people expected after they fired Rafa Benitez last season.
The Magpies are currently level on points with Arsenal on 31 points and they come here unbeaten in their last eight games in all competitions.
They have just two wins in normal time in that run of games but they have shown several times this season that they are not an easy side to beat.
Arsenal top scorer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang returned to action in their last league game but he fired blanks – he will be looking to get back among the goals in this game.
Arsenal has a good time in the head-to-head between these teams as the Gunners have won four of the last five head-to-heads and the last three meetings ended in wins for Arsenal.
