Mainz and RB Leipzig meet in this Sunday league game as the Bundesliga restart continues.
Both sides restarted their season with a draw last weekend so they will both be looking for their first win to kick-start their end to the campaign.
Mainz is struggling dangerously close to the relegation zone so they need to win this game more than the visitors.
Their 2-2 draw against at FC Koln in their last league game should come as a major boost for Mainz but they have to follow that up with a win in this game.
Leipzig still has hopes of winning the league title this season however, their draw against Freiburg at home when the league restarted last weekend has created a seven point gap between them and the top of the league table.
The visitors have drawn their last three league games and they are lagging behind the top two in goals too so they need to avoid dropping points in this game.
Leipzig are unbeaten in their last eight games in all competitions and they beat Mainz 8-0 in the reverse of this fixture – they arrive here confident that they can get back to form with a win in this game.
