Jose Mourinho’s Spurs have struggled for form since the injury to Harry Kane and now that the England captain is fit again, Spurs will look to mount a late charge for the Premier League’s top five.

Manchester United are currently fifth in the league table which could get them Champions League football next season should Manchester City’s Champions League ban be upheld.

However, the Red Devils face serious challenges from a host of other teams including Wolves and Sheffield United and they would want to get started with a win in this game.

Tottenham were in the midst of a terrible run of form before the break as they lost five of their last six games ahead of this game.

Manchester United in contrast were in a fine run of form before the break – they were unbeaten in their last 11 games across all competitions and eight of those games were wins for them.
