Chelsea will look to continue their push to earn the last Champions League spot in the Premier League table when they take on the league’s defending champions in this game.
The Blues came from a goal down to beat Aston Villa 2-1 on their return to Premier League football.
Manchester City has also been in solid form ahead of this game. After beating Arsenal 3-0 on their return to action last week, they followed that up with an emphatic 5-0 win over Burnley in their last game ahead of this match.
On their current form, Pep Guardiola’s side wouldn’t have been behind Liverpool by as many points as they are now and Chelsea need to be at their very best to stop them.
The Blues are also in top form ahead of this game as Frank Lampard’s side looks to maintain their place in the top four.
Chelsea is unbeaten in their last five games in all competitions and they have won their last four ahead of this game.
Manchester City was beaten by Manchester United just before the league season was suspended but Pep Guardiola’s side looks prepared to delay Liverpool’s title win as we enter the final games of the season.
