Getafe looked like they would be finishing this season in a Champions League place with their fine run of form earlier in the campaign.
However, since the restart, the home side has been struggling for form with no wins since and they come into this game off the back of three consecutive draws.
Sociedad are enduring a similarly poor run of form with three losses from as many games heading into this match.
Getafe are 6th in the league table but a win here would take them to 5th position which would be a more comfortable spot to be in.
Sociedad are currently 7th in the league table but their poor form means just a point separates them from 8th position although they have played a game less.
Getafe has had the upper hand when these teams have met recently with four wins from the last five head-to-head meetings.
The home side also enjoys two home wins over their visitors but they haven’t won any of their last four home games in all competitions.
