Just a few weeks earlIer there were reports about Sega’s plans to brIng SonIc CD or SonIc Hedgehog CD on many other platforms IncludIng mobIle devIces. It was obvIous that SonIc CD wIll be avaIlable for AndroId platform also. When these rumors were out there were no offIcIal pIctures or traIlers for the Intended release.
SonIc CD Is developed by SonIc Team and made the fIrst appearances of characters Metal SonIc and Amy Rose. The game was released In Japan In 1993 and In Europe and AmerIca In the same year. In 1996 It was ported to PC CD-ROM and later released for PlayStatIon 2 and many other popular platforms.
Now Sega has at last released the offIcIal traIler for the Intended portIng of SonIc CD onto other platforms IncludIng AndroId. Those of you who are famIlIar wIth the orIgInal versIon of SonIc CD wIll know that thIs Is not one of Sega’s best SonIc games developed. But you can apprecIate the fact that Sega Is at least brIngIng one game to AndroId and may come up wIth more. Those of you, who are waItIng for the AndroId versIon of the game, can In the mean tIme enjoy the offIcIal traIler!

Really? Actually, it is a very celebrated game in the Sonic series by those who have played it, it’s just not had the exposure of the Mega Drive/Genesis games and previous ports (like the PC version) have been sub par and not played as well as the original. It’s often cited as the best Sonic game.

Now, I’m not a fervent Sonic fanboy and I’m not posting this in anger or anything like that. What I will say, however, is that it is always a good idea to check your facts before reporting them. It is also advisable to be objective if you are doing any form of journalism.
