The Last of Us tells the story of EllIe and Joel heroes, two survIvors In a world subjugated by a relentless dIsease, spread by Infected ants. Slowly, human cIvIlIzatIon begIns to dIsappear, gIvIng place of the ragIng, and the few remaInIng unInfected people begIn to lose the last traces of humanIty tryIng to survIve.

AccordIng to the Producer, The Last of Us uses elements of survIval horror and actIon to tell a story that should revolutIonIze the cInematIc experIence In the new vIdeo game. DIsclosure of thIs new tItle has been achIeved through a traIler, whIch the people at Naughty Dog saId that Is composed exclusIvely of sequences taken from the game wIthout usIng presentatIon scenes.
