The most anticipated race of the year is almost upon us – The 2013 John Smith’s Grand National takes place at Aintree Racecourse on 6th April 2013 at 16:15 GMT+0 (UK Time). This race represents the most staked event in the calendar year with £300 million expected to be bet throughout the country.
40 runners are expected to take their place in the race and although there is no official racecard of declared horses, we have a list of 56 horses, 40 of which will be running in the 2013 Grand National.

Gamingtips Tips – JONCOL – in a race where jumping is key, it’s a good idea to side with a horse who hasn’t had too many blunders and JONCOL hasn’t fell in 19/19 starts, has finished behind very smart horses including Rubi Light, Rare Bob, Cooldine, Big Zeb and last years Gold Cup winner Synchronized and represents a very good each-way bet at odds of 40-50/1.
Each-way selections – Magnanimity, Auroras Encore both 33/1 or bigger.
The race itself will be run over four miles, three furlongs and one hundred and ten yards (4m 3f 110y), with a prize pool of £975,000 and an expected audience of 500 million people across 140 countries we can expect an enthralling race and fingers crossed a race where we see few fallers and zero casualties.
