Gamingtips Prediction – France U20 2:1 Turkey U20
At the start of the tournament, France were one of the favourites to win with bookmakers however they haven’t looked like a major tournament winning side in any of their performances thus far. They never looked like winning against Spain and although their win against Ghana was comfortable, they have yet to show their real potential.
Although they haven’t impressed thus far, France do have a very good side on paper and we should expect a much better performance from them against Turkey.
Odds of 23/20 are generous considering they were one of the tournament favourites coming in.
Turkey will have massive support from local fans and having slipped up just once in their group matches against a very smart Colombian side, they come into this match in good form and with high expectations from their fans.
Turkey looked very shaky and anxious towards the end of their match against Australia knowing they were about to reach the knockout stages of the tournament and in front of their own fans, they may waiver under pressure.
Turkey were able to compete with one of the tournament favourites, Colombia for most of the game and that form is good enough to make them competitive against France if they can handle the pressure of the occasion in front of their home fans.
This game gets underway at 19:00 CET and can be viewed live on Eurosport.
