From a betting perspective there is certainly value to be had with players at longer odds (Mens -David Ferrer seeded 3rd – 50/1 – Womens – Sloane Stephens 50/1) and although Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams are deserved favourites, it’s difficult to back them at such short odds pre-tournament.
