Competition – FIFA World Cup

Stadium – Arena St Petersburg

Date: 19th June 2018

Kick-off time – 19:00 GMT

Russia head into their second World Cup game with a chance to qualify for the next round after a resounding win over Saudi Arabia in the first match.

The Russians did not have the best results before the finals started, but they surprisingly beat Saudi Arabia, scoring two goals in added time to finish the game 5-0.

Aleksander Golovin was the star of the show with one goal and two assists while Denis Cheryshev also netted a brace.

The question on all of the Russian fans mind is can they consolidate on their first win and become the first team to reach the knockout phase?

Egypt were heartbroken when they conceded a late goal against Uruguay in their first game.

In truth, a combination of a series of misses by Luis Suarez and the heroics of their goalkeeper was the reason they were not thrashed.

They are hoping to welcome Mohamed Salah back for this game but with the Liverpool man out of action for so long there will be doubts over his performance and fitness levels however, if he does get into scoring mood, he could be unstoppable.

Egypt are currently third in their group table while the Russians are leading the rest – a defeat here would send the north Africans home.
