Manchester United vs Arsenal Preview

Two of England’s struggling top six sides meet in this game with both managers looking to earn a win that would bring some confidence into their camp.

Manchester United have continued struggling under the guidance of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. This game will be their 7th league fixture of the season but they have won just two of those games.

Currently 8th in the league table, the Red Devils are suffering a raft of injuries but the return of Paul Pogba is a major boost and Solskjaer would be hoping he can inspire his teammates to a much-needed win here.

Manchester United’s problem has been conversion as they have recorded the second-highest number of shots in the division after Manchester City.

Arsenal have remained plagued by the same defencive issues that Unai Emery’s team are usually fraught with despite signing David Luiz in the summer.

The Gunners are one of the sharpshooters in the division as they have netted at least twice in their last 5 games.

The Gunners however, do have a major issue at the back as they have kept just a single clean sheet in the league this season.

Keeping a clean sheet against Nottingham Forest in midweek and welcoming some of their injured stars back is a major boost for them ahead of this game but it is still too early to trust their defence.
